Well, the blessed Cottage Food Bill has passed into law, but now comes the waiting! I called my local Environmental
Health Dept. office this morning and Eric, a very nice man, told me that nothing would be ready until January 1st. and to please call back then. Rats! By the way, don't ever say that near a health inspector! Understandably, they are getting slammed with calls, so please, be a good egg and contain your excitement and call them in January. In the mean time, I will be getting my kitchen in extreme ship-shape condition for inspection! And then there is the menu planning and recipe refining, and packaging issues to decide upon, very exciting!
